Register now for the forthcoming Spring 2010 season of the ClubFootball Midweek 5-a-side League, Beijing’s biggest year-round 5-a-side league!

The season runs from Tuesday 9th March through to Thursday 22nd April, and the league is open to men’s amateur and corporate teams of all levels. The segment appears on a popular show called 'Kicker' and is almost 10 minutes long, featuring interviews with CF General Manager Keith Bradbury, player Andrey Belyakov of the Barbarians and referee Nasir. The Men's Midweek 5-a-side League finished this week with enthralling last day battles for the titles in many divisions!

In Division 1, congratulations to Russia Utd on finishing in top spot and scoring 52 goals along the way, only losing twice. The Russians clinched the title in Week 6 beating plucky Real Ancient in a frantic and vital 6-5 victory! Read on for the final standings in all 8 Divisions!

Week 6 has been a big week for many of the teams fighting for their Division titles and there we now have glorious champions!

After 6 weeks of unpredictable weather, new teams entering, old teams returning, big upsets and high scores, a few Division titles have already been settled! Congratulations to Russia Utd winning (Div 1), Vikings winning (Div 2), 5 4 Huo Ju winning (Div 3) and Gong He winning (Div 6). The highest Score of week 6 was in Div 7 with Sofa winning 9-8 while 5 4 Huo Ju still have the best league record to fight for with 11 wins and 1 draw!

After Week 5's original postponed matches due to the Snow the reshceduled Week 5 matches were all replayed last week with some frost biting results!

Still at the top of the pile, Russia Utd lead Div 1 by 8 points with Spitfire BFC winning 8-4 in the highest scoring game of week 5. In Div 2 The two returning teams both notched up two victories while in Div 3 with the league and the barbarians being filmed for Sohu.com they picked up 2 wins to stay in contention with Forbidden city. 5 4 Huo Ju have the best record in the league while Gong He are running away with Div 6 and Div 8 is looking set for the tightest finish!
