2009 Barclays Asia Trophy Tickets Available Now!
|
|
 Tickets are now available to pre-order for the 2009 Barclays Asia Trophy!
Held on the 29th and 31st July at the Workers' Stadium, the 2009 Barclays Asia Trophy involves three Premier League clubs (Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Hull City) as well as local team Beijing Guo'an. Tickets allow you to watch two games back to back on each matchday with kick off times at 17:00 and 20:00pm. Please read the full story for more information.

CF 5-a-side League Presentation - Sat 11th July

 The presentation ceremony for this year's ClubFootball 5-a-side Leagues will be held at Beijing Okhotsk Beer (BOK) at Sanyuanqiao on Saturday 11th July!
Kicking off from 19:30pm, the party will feature trophies from all of this year's 5's competitions, plus of course lots of great beer! Cost is 50 Rmb per head, which includes free flow of BOK's great micro-brewed weissen and ale brews! Please watch this space for a full roundup of division winners once next week's final matches are complete. Congrats in advance to Afrika Reds, Halfen Beijing, Instituto Cervantes, 17uxi.cn, Iran, 100Li and Daimler who have already clinched their respective titles!

 This summer sees the 2009 Beijing International Football Festival hit the city with both the 2009 Barclays Asia Trophy & the 2009 TIM Italian Super Cup coming to town.
ClubFootball can take your order now for tickets for the Italian Super Cup which will be staged at the The Bird's Nest and promises to be a stunning event. The match will see Serie A champions Internazionale (Inter Milan) face off against Italian cup winners Lazio on 8th August, the 1-year anniversary of the opening of the Olympic Games. Football Fundraisers Coming This Weekend!
|
|
 The next two weeks will see three football fundraisers to support members of our community that have sustained serious injury in recent weeks and who need a helping hand.
Two fundraisers are organized by the good folks at Sexy FC to help player and CF referee Nasir who sustained a badly broken arm while turning out for the pink army. The third is staged by the mighty Barbarians to help David Vaughan who suffered a broken kneecap in 3 places whilst turning out against IFFC Champions L'Equipe. In Division 1, Afrika Reds have got off to a flyer in the defence of their title, with Real Ancient hot on their heels for the second season running!
